I’m busy, I said; too much to do:
I have no time to spend with you.
Your need is great, I do not doubt
The basics you must live without.

But I am on the way, you see,
To meet with experts just like me,
Who’ll sit, and confer, and discuss
 How folks like you need folks like us.
